The annoying letterboxing all around the screen in God of War. I checked the in-game display settings and even cycled through different picture sizes with my TV remote - nothing was helping. But after asking a few friends and co-workers, I found out that it most certainly was not. At first, I thought it might’ve been an aesthetic choice. Nobody should basically be taking advantage of the place to be an instigator.I have a confession to make: I played God of War for way too long with an annoying black border on my screen. One thing I think should be included in the safe zone rule is provoking inside a safe zone. Just judge a specific person on their roleplay, call them something realistic if it is IC, and have nothing bleeding into OOC or OOC bleeding into IC. The worst thing above all about some SAMP servers was the OOC toxicity and cliques. Any kind of faction really. That attitude just had OOC assumptions impacting IC roleplay. Like it or not, the same attitudes/poor RP could be found in many gang factions. The whole mall rat attitude should honestly be dropped. A lot of people don't consider that in their roleplay. Sometimes a crime makes sense and sometimes it doesn't. If there's just one person jogging around a park alone, well robbing them is pretty different. Getting into a fight at a barbecue or something is totally different. If there's a sizable # of people there shouldn't be some rob crew riding around for wallets at say, a barbecue with 10+ people. I do think that having no regulation at all will just mean people will go for the bare minimum when they put thoughts into crimes because the chances of getting caught aren't high. I don't think mirror park should be a safe zone by the way. What exactly are the safe zones that are bad? Customization stores, a public pier, and an airport are reasonable. The docks have a job location and that is the only real spot there that should be a safe zone.
It's perfectly possible to rob them in transit. Robbing fishermen on a pier were bad on SAMP and it shouldn't be on here either. The pier is a highly public area and again where new players are. Doing crimes there is basically abusing the OOC lack of security. The airport like Ikechukwu said is where new players are and it's an airport anyways. The clothing stores, the barber shops, the surgeon, etc. I don't know about all the safe zones but no one should be robbing anyone no matter where they are at the scripted stores. Every area in the city is pretty much right next each other. We have to remember that it's game map too. It fits a lot of player backgrounds better whereas those three only fit the very wealthy. Mirror Park is a suburb, which is why people would choose to live there even if the high-end areas were scripted. The only areas not close to "gangland" are Vinewood Hills, Chumash, and Rockford Hills.
